It has been pretty cold and snowy here lately, but unlike the Pacific Northwest the whole city doesn't shut down with 2 inches of snow. That is pretty constant here. On Tuesday evening, however, we received quite the winter storm. In my professional expertise estimate that we got about 8 inches of snow and a SNOW DAY on Wednesday which is basically a teacher's dream! :)
Lucas lucked out in that he didn't need to take a sick day to finish his paper, so I spent the day cleaning, wrapping presents, and baking some cookies. Lucas took a break so we could go out in the backyard and play with the pups. There was a.lot. of snow and Atticus was like a little rabbit bouncing around in it!
