Leslie, Ellie and I are welcoming a new member to the family, Tucker! A least that is his current name, we think we'll keep it. Yesterday, we were at Costco and I convinced Leslie to check out the pound. We've talked about getting a second dog, but we were going to wait until after the wedding. Well plans changed when we met Tucker, a 3 year old Golden Retriever mix. He was the very last dog that we saw and we were drawn to him. Playing with him outside we found him to be very cuddly and calm. He's definitely lost the hyperactivity of a puppy and didn't react to other dogs barking in his face. In fact his favorite activity seems to be getting a good belly rub. We put him on hold and today we took Ellie over to meet him. They got along really well after a good sniffing. So, after much thought and discussion we decided that this was the right decision. We had no intention of getting a dog at this point, but we just couldn't pass up on the perfect addition to the family. Now we have two amazing, loving and perfect dogs.
