We celebrated our two year wedding anniversary over the holiday weekend by traveling to Salt Lake City. While, it may not be the most romantic choice, we wanted to travel somewhere we had never been, it had to be in driving distance (anything under 6 hours for us is a breeze!), and we got a really great deal on a hotel.
We had an awesome time! We drove into SLC and immediately walked down to Temple Square.
We drove to Park City the next day and explored all the sites from the Olympics. It was very interesting and very fun!
We celebrated our actual anniversary at a restaurant called the Copper Onion - and it was very delicious and romantic! No pics from the restaurant but we did snap some self-portraits before we left. It is my goal to wear this dress for every anniversary! :)
We had an awesome time! We drove into SLC and immediately walked down to Temple Square.
The temple was super beautiful, and a couple had just been sealed so they were taking lots of pictures out front.
We had philly cheese steaks at Moochie's which was on Diners, Drive-In's and Dives -- they were delicious!! Yum!
Olympic Stadium and Museum
Athletes train all year round -- here they have ramps which drop into pools. They also host camps for kiddos to learn how to ski jump.

Our tour guide shared lots of interesting information about the different sports -- here we are talking about the skeleton and bobsled
The track
The top of the ski jump -- the green, noodly material simulates the exact feel and speed of snow
